Do you have a minimum rental?
Yes. To cover basic utility expenses and insurance premiums, we have a minimum charge of $400 per night, the equivalent of 16 people per night.
Do you rent to more than one group at a time?
Ponca Bible Camp only rents to one group at a time, so when your group comes, you get the entire place to yourself.
Do you rent to individual families?
Ponca Bible Camp’s sole purpose is to glorify God through Christ-centered camp ministries and retreats, therefore we do try to reserve the camp for these specific ministries. Some large Christian Family Reunions are held here at the camp.
Do you provide meals?
Sorry, we do not provide meals to groups. Each group brings their own food and prepares it. We do, however, have a fully equipped kitchen for you to cook in.
Are there extra building usage fees?
There are no additional charges. When you rent Ponca Bible Camp you have complete usage of all the buildings. Our only fee at this time is $25 per person, per night.
Do you get cell phone service?
The camp is located down in the Buffalo River Valley of the Ozark mountains, and cell phone services generally do not reach the camp. Please bring a calling card to call out from the camp using our landline.
Do you have RV hook up?
Sorry, we do not.
How many beds do you have?
We have 5, two-sided cabins (a door is between the two rooms), with 4 bunkbeds on each side of the cabin. These cabins sleep 8 people per side, for a total of 16 per cabin. We also have a larger cabin with two separate rooms near the shower house. Each room has 7 bunkbeds, sleeping 14 people per room for a total of 28 people for the entire cabin. The staff house has four bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 twin size beds (box spring and mattress). Two bedrooms have 3 twin size beds, and one bedroom has 1 full size bed and two twin size beds. Ponca Bible Camp has enough beds for 120 people.
Do you provide bedding?
We do not provide bedding. Renters will need to provide their own sheets, blankets, sleeping bag and pillow.
Do you rent canoes?
Nope, but there are 2 great canoe outfitters just down the street here in Ponca:

How far are you from the Buffalo River?
We are about as close as you can get! The Ponca Buffalo River Access is less than ¼ of a mile from our camp. During the summer months it is a great place for our groups to walk to for swimming.
Do you have BBQ grills and/or a fire pit?
Yes, we have a nice charcoal grill, as well as a large commercial size grill/smoker. Our fire pit is just outside of the dining hall, and perfect for evening worship by the campfire. We do ask that all campfires be kept to this area only, and only while there is an adult supervisor present. Also please check to see if there is currently a burn ban in effect.
